Why prices differ from one day to the next
The price mostly follows the road. Friguia Park is half an hour from Hammamet and the visit fits in a morning, hence €45. Dougga is two and a half hours away each way, close to five hours of driving before you even walk into the ruins. That is why it reaches €120.
In between, El Jem and Kairouan, Cap Bon and the Sahel coast sit around €90. Carthage, Sidi Bou Said and the Tunis medina, our most booked day, is €80.
Why a price per vehicle instead of per person?
Because what costs money is the car and the driver's day, not how many seats are filled. So we charge for the car, and you fill it however you like. The more of you there are, the less each person pays.

How to compare with a tour sold per person
Coach tours sold at hotel reception desks are priced per person. To compare fairly, multiply that price by the number of people in your group, children included if they pay. Then look at what each option actually gives you for that total.
On a private day the car waits for nobody else. No pickup loop around five hotels, no forced stop in a souvenir shop, and you can stay an extra hour in Sidi Bou Said if the view from Café des Délices grabs you. For a family or a group of friends it is often just as cheap, and far more pleasant.
How much is an excursion from Hammamet to Sidi Bou Said?

What is included in the price?
